Calling all neighbors!

You're a good neighbor, and if you're like us, you want to leave your community better than you found it.

The Good Neighbor Project is an annual event where we take a Sunday to leave our communities better than we found them. We believe that Jesus cares just as deeply as we do about our communities and because of that we want to roll up our sleeves and help where we are needed.

ALOHA COMMUNITY PROJECT TEAMS

PUBLIC SCHOOL CLEANUP (ages 4 & up)
9:30 am – 12:30 pm

Help make our local schools ready for this fall! From cleaning up the grounds to sprucing up the buildings to getting them ready to welcome students back, you can make a difference. Gloves, rakes and any other yard tool would be helpful, if you can bring them.

Project #9: Home Repair (ages 10 & under) | 9:30 am - 1:00 pm Team Leader:

  • Joint Westside/Bedrock project to work on a house, deck repair, & paver installation

Project #10: Your Neighborhood (ages 4 & up) | 9:30 am-12:30 pm Team Leader: YOU

  • We understand you may not want to gather in a group as we ask you to join us by stepping out in your neighborhood. You could do some activities like pick up trash, write an encouraging note to your neighbor, drop off goodies on someone’s porch, write a appreciation note to a first responder or teacher, or simply get a lawn chair out & say hello to anyone who walks by.

  • Help put swag bags together for the Aloha High School incoming freshman.

Project #12: MEDIA TEAM (ages 10 & up) | 9:30 - 12:30 pm Team Leader: Greg Lang

  • Join our team of photographers and get assigned to one of the different projects to take
