The Ministry Intern is a developmental role at Westside Community Church designed to grow emerging leaders through hands-on ministry experience. Your primary opportunity is to lead and refine a specific ministry area while learning to cast vision, develop volunteers, and create sustainable systems.

What You'll Develop:

  • Vision casting for your ministry area

  • Ministry systems that create sustainability

  • Leadership development and team coordination

  • Discipleship pathway management

  • Multi-channel communication skills (stage presence, small groups, updates, team coordination)

You'll receive regular coaching sessions and quarterly development reviews to accelerate your growth as a ministry leader.

  • Emerging leadership ability and hunger to grow

  • Strong relational skills with participants and volunteers

  • Comfort creating new structures

  • Coachable spirit

  • Alignment with our church's mission

Available Ministry Areas:

  • Kids Ministry Lead Saturday night kids service, expand our shepherd program, and develop volunteer leaders while guiding children through discipleship.

  • Student Ministry Launch and lead student worship service, build discipleship systems, and develop student and adult leaders.

  • Worship Ministry Support worship preparation, contribute to team development, and grow as a worship leader through coaching and hands-on experience.
