God is working in the BACKGROUND

How to Have More Hope

Micah 5:2-5a

2 But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, are only a small village among all the people of Judah. Yet a ruler of Israel, whose origins are in the distant past, will come from you on my behalf. 3 The people of Israel will be abandoned to their enemies until the woman in labor gives birth. Then at last his fellow countrymen will return from exile to their own land. 4 And he will stand to lead his flock with the Lord’s strength, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God. Then his people will live there undisturbed, for he will be highly honored around the world. 5 And he will be the source of peace.

Recognize the PROMISE 

For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.   
- 2 Corinthians 1:20

Remember God’s TRACK RECORD

Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.   - Hebrews 10:23

Release your TIMELINE

But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law.   - Galatians 4:4

Replace your WORRY with WORSHIP

8 I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. 9 No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety.    
- Psalm 16:8-9

4 And because Joseph was a descendant of King David, he had to go to Bethlehem in Judea, David’s ancient home. He traveled there from the village of Nazareth in Galilee. 5 He took with him Mary, to whom he was engaged, who was now expecting a child. - Luke 2:4-5
