Your Hope Starts Now

RESURRECTION 

Christ has been raised from the dead…everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life…all who belong to Christ will be raised when he comes back.   
-1 Corinthians 15:20-23

RESTORATION 

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth… ”Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever. Look, I am making everything new!”    
-Revelation 21:1-5

RENEWAL 

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
-2 Corinthians 5:17

20 But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. 21 He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.   
-Philippians 3:20-21

REUNION 

We want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope…when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died…So encourage each other with these words.
-1 Thessalonians 4:13-14, 18

Read 1 Corinthians 15:35-58 out loud. Then retell the passage in your own words. Then discuss the following questions:

  • What does this passage teach us about God? 

  • What does this passage teach us about people? 

  • If this is true, what should I do in response? 

  • Who could I share this with?
