Jesus is Coming Again. In the Meantime…

God’s KINGDOM is BREAKING IN now

May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

You can SEE it and HEAR it

God raised Jesus from the dead, and we are all witnesses of this. Now he is exalted to the place of highest honor in heaven, at God’s right hand. And the Father, as he had promised, gave him the Holy Spirit to pour out upon us, just as you see and hear today.
-Acts 2:32-33

The CHURCH is the VESSEL

All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity — all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.
-Acts 2:42-47

Read Isaiah 58:1-14 out loud. Then retell the passage in your own words. Then discuss the following questions:

  • What does this passage teach us about God? 

  • What does this passage teach us about people? 

  • If this is true, what should I do in response? 

  • Who could I share this with?
